Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain in-sprint automated test scripts and improve the existing automation architecture, frameworks, coding standards, and testing strategies.
  • Define and implement quality gates covering code coverage, security scans, performance targets, scalability, availability, and integration testing.
  • Lead automation testing strategy, design, code reviews, retrospectives, and continuous quality improvement across multiple teams and applications.
  • Develop and support testing for web, mobile, desktop, database, web-service, performance, load, disaster recovery, and security scenarios.
  • Mentor and train teams on testing processes, automation, test data management, performance testing, and quality practices.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on product quality, performance, scalability, and system stability.
  • Evaluate and recommend testing tools, products, upgrades, and vendor or multivendor solutions.
  • Collaborate with global QA, development, architecture, operations, business stakeholders, and other delivery teams to resolve testing issues and communicate solutions.
  • Support manual testing when needed and help foster a quality-first, collaborative engineering culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • 3–6+ years of Information Technology experience focused on Quality Assurance and Automation Testing.
  • Proficiency with a major programming language such as .NET or Java, scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python, APIs, GUI interfaces, XML/JSON, and SQL/NoSQL technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Visual Studio, REST API, Postman or Fiddler, and Playwright.
  • Experience with behavior-driven development and tools such as Cucumber and Gherkin.
  • Strong knowledge of relational database queries, procedures, database development tools, and database concepts.
  • Experience with performance automation tools such as JMeter and BlazeMeter.
  • Experience with Azure Pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and unit-test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, or MS Test.
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, and TestRail for defect and test-result management.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams, demonstrate initiative and sound judgment, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and support a results-driven culture.
  • Exposure to the financial services sector is preferred.
