Responsibilities
- Analyze business, functional, and regulatory requirements to define test strategies and scenarios.
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases across the software development lifecycle.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing.
- Validate AML monitoring, sanctions screening, KYC processes, compliance workflows, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Execute API testing using Postman, SOAP UI, or equivalent tools.
- Perform backend data validation and database testing using SQL queries.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Compliance SMEs, and other stakeholders.
- Support test automation, continuous quality improvement, and testing of AI-powered and GenAI-integrated features.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle, defect management, and functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Good knowledge of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, SOAP UI, or equivalent tools.
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Generative AI concepts.
- Preferred knowledge of fraud and financial crime compliance, SWIFT messaging, ISO 20022 payments, or banking compliance systems.
- Exposure to AI-assisted testing, prompt engineering, GenAI output validation, AI-driven test case generation, or test automation is preferred.
