Responsibilities
- Create and execute UI and API test scripts as part of the end-to-end testing lifecycle.
- Maintain automated test suites for React applications and backend APIs.
- Track defects and troubleshoot connectivity, device interaction, and data workflows.
- Maintain automated UI and API tests within Jenkins/DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Use AI-assisted tools, automated test data generation, and no-code automation flows to improve testing efficiency.
- Support quality tracking and documentation through Forge as the team adopts the Atlassian System of Work.
- Develop software and testing solutions using secure coding and software development practices.
- Debug software issues, create technical documentation, and contribute to product and process improvements.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of related professional engineering experience in software testing or development.
- Good knowledge of testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Python or Java for writing and debugging automation scripts.
- Hands-on experience with at least one UI or API automation tool, such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or PyTest.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP and L2/L3; CCNA-level knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix command-line utilities and basic shell scripting.
- Curiosity about or basic exposure to AI-assisted testing and prompt-based tools is preferred.
- Basic understanding of React front ends and their interaction with APIs is preferred.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum collaboration across distributed teams is preferred.
- Basic exposure to AWS or other cloud-native infrastructure is preferred.
