Responsibilities
- Set technical strategy and promote engineering best practices for the team.
- Mentor and lead developers while cultivating technical curiosity and understanding.
- Explore technical needs, clarify requirements, assess development estimates, and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design, develop, test, and launch scalable and maintainable software.
- Drive continuous improvement in software quality, customer experience, and product maintainability.
- Stay current with technology trends, tools, and development approaches.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience with ownership of deliverables from design through launch.
- Interest or experience in web applications, services design and architecture, SEO, security, SNS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, REST services, and JavaScript.
- Ability to set technical direction, influence stakeholders, and apply a broad range of design approaches.
- Ability to mentor developers and collaborate with engineering, Product, UX, and QA teams.
