Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable enterprise web applications and internal business tools.
- Build Java full-stack solutions using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, AJAX, and responsive web technologies.
- Design and implement REST and SOAP integrations with internal, external, database, and third-party systems.
- Develop database integrations, data access layers, complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database performance improvements.
- Administer and support Apache HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, JBoss/WildFly, Linux, and Microsoft Windows Server environments.
- Manage deployments, upgrades, application monitoring, production support, release processes, and Tier 3 incident resolution.
- Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, networking, database, performance, and operational issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams on requirements, architecture, solution reviews, planning, mentoring, and technical guidance.
- Support legacy application migration, platform modernization, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 8+ years of enterprise software development experience.
- Strong experience with Java, enterprise Java, object-oriented programming, MVC architecture, and multi-tier application development.
- Full-stack development experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and responsive web design.
- Experience with REST APIs, SOAP web services, JSON, XML, and authentication and security protocols.
- Experience with Apache Tomcat, JBoss/WildFly, Apache HTTP Server, web application deployment, and configuration.
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, JDBC, stored procedures, complex query development, and database performance tuning.
- Experience with Linux administration, Windows Server administration, shell scripting, Git, application monitoring, troubleshooting, performance diagnostics, and production deployment and support.
- Experience supporting large-scale internal business applications and balancing development with production support and infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of survey platforms, workflow automation, and operational tools is preferred.
- Experience in Agile development environments is preferred.
