Base Salary
$72k - $119k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software components for the Web Access Management platform.
- Build cloud-native Java and Micronaut microservices, RESTful APIs, and PostgreSQL-backed backend services.
- Develop event-driven integrations using Amazon SQS, SNS, and EventBridge.
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, maintainable software solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve application reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Write automated unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of professional software development experience.
- Strong programming skills in Java.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
- Understanding of object-oriented design principles and software engineering best practices.
- Familiarity with Git and modern CI/CD practices.
- Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
- Preferred experience with Micronaut, AWS, Amazon SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Kubernetes, OpenShift, PostgreSQL optimization, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, IAM, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or Datadog.
