Base Salary
$60k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop maintainable Go automation software, microservices, and cloud-native APIs.
- Provision and manage scalable Google Cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
- Orchestrate containerized applications with Google Kubernetes Engine and Cloud Run.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Implement logging, monitoring, telemetry, and observability for Go applications.
- Secure cloud services using IAM, Cloud KMS, and automated dependency vulnerability scanning.
- Debug distributed cloud systems and optimize Go runtimes for cost and performance.
- Gather requirements, participate in implementation and integration activities, and collaborate with client stakeholders.
- Execute module testing and participate in User Acceptance Testing sessions.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, diagrams, and code comments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in cloud engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Go, including concurrency patterns, standard library tools, and cloud-native API development.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud services including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, IAM, and networking.
- Strong experience writing modular, production-ready Terraform configurations.
- Deep understanding of Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, REST/gRPC interfaces, and distributed systems.
- Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect certification is highly desirable.
