Responsibilities
- Architect and own the ML foundations for commerce discovery.
- Design and deploy scalable real-time recommendation and ranking systems.
- Build ML-powered marketing targeting systems for user campaigns.
- Leverage Discord's social graph for social commerce ML applications.
- Drive deep learning A/B testing infrastructure and model monitoring.
- Partner with various teams to define ML requirements and influence the commerce roadmap.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
- Deep expertise in applied deep learning, particularly in recommendation systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks, preferably PyTorch.
- Experience building and operating real-time ML serving infrastructure at scale.
- Ability to work in early-stage, high-ambiguity environments.
- Experience translating ML metrics into product decisions and business impact.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
