Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the Android application.
- Contribute to Android platform development and architecture.
- Solve product and engineering problems pragmatically.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, business, and other cross-functional partners to shape product direction.
- Build reliable consumer-facing mobile experiences.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership on the Android team.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively across teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of mobile app development experience, including at least 2 years building and shipping production Android apps.
- At least 3 years of experience working in a startup environment.
- Experience developing consumer-facing mobile applications.
- Strong Kotlin skills and practical experience with Jetpack Compose and MVVM or Clean Architecture.
- Experience with Firebase Authentication, Firestore or Realtime Database, and Cloud Messaging.
- Familiarity with protobufs, REST APIs, and gRPC.
- Proficiency with unit, instrumentation, and UI testing and mobile CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Android platform development and architecture, mentorship, and a strong academic background.
