Responsibilities
- Design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud-edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs.
- Analyze user needs and software requirements to design and customize efficient software solutions.
- Design and implement software modules for products and systems.
- Code large features and perform unit testing, debugging, integration, regression testing, and issue triage.
- Conduct code reviews and fix defects to ensure software quality.
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test, and other engineering teams.
- Write technical documentation for software projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 2+ years of software engineering or related experience; or a master's degree plus 1+ year; or a PhD in a related field.
- 2+ years of academic or work experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Preferred: master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Preferred: 4+ years of software engineering or related work experience.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience with database management software.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience with APIs.
- Preferred: 1+ year of experience with Git, Perforce, or a source code management system.
