  • Own hardware-feature support across design, pre-silicon verification, post-silicon verification, release, and long-term support.
  • Build low-level firmware including device drivers, initialization and startup code, timing-sensitive system software, and radio control features.
  • Optimize real-time embedded software for performance, reliability, power efficiency, and memory and CPU utilization.
  • Debug issues across software, firmware, hardware, and system boundaries using lab tools and debuggers.
  • Collaborate with hardware, silicon, systems, and product teams on requirements, design reviews, and new-device bring-up.
  • Contribute to automated testing, validation, development tooling, code reviews, and design reviews.
  • Mentor and support other engineers through technical guidance and best practices.

  • At least 5 years of professional embedded software or firmware development experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Embedded C and/or C++.
  • Experience developing for microcontrollers in resource-constrained, real-time environments using bare-metal and/or RTOS-based systems.
  • Hands-on hardware/software debugging experience with tools such as debuggers, JTAG/SWD, oscilloscopes, or logic analyzers.
  • Experience with low-level embedded software, including device drivers, interrupts, peripheral interfaces, timing-sensitive code, or memory-constrained systems.
  • Experience taking features from design through implementation, testing, and release.
  • Preferred experience includes wireless technologies, communication stacks, radio control, PHY/MAC functionality, low-power optimization, embedded interfaces, Python, automated testing, silicon bring-up, multi-core microcontrollers, concurrency, and hardware validation.
  • Familiarity with assembly on ARM, RISC-V, or similar MCU architectures is preferred.
