Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requirements and business objectives to propose technical solutions.
- Prepare effort estimates, high-level estimates, technical approach documents, quotes, and functional and technical approaches.
- Develop, code, unit-test, peer-review, and maintain software solutions.
- Plan and manage software releases, rollouts, patches, schedules, and release notes.
- Provide technical input for pre-sales activities and deliver product or solution demonstrations to clients.
- Collaborate with customers and project teams on requirements, specifications, and proposed solutions.
- Investigate, triage, and resolve defects and issues with code fixes and unit testing within defined SLAs.
- Provide on-site or remote go-live, dry-run, testing, and deployment support, including work during customer time zones.
- Perform risk assessments, support continuous improvement, and provide technical guidance to assigned engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant discipline; MCA and MSc in Computer Science are also listed.
- 5 to 7.5 years of total experience.
- Experience with Java, Ext JS, JavaScript, and PL/SQL.
- Prior experience with Blue Yonder, JDA, RedPrairie WMS, or other WMS platforms is advantageous.
- Experience in test management and test execution.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, software development best practices, build processes, IDEs, database tools, source control, operating systems, and command-line usage.
- Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, SQL Developer, SQL Management Studio, Windows, Linux, Unix, and JIRA.
- Familiarity with Cursor AI, Replit AI, and GitHub Copilot for development, code refactoring, and unit testing.
- Ability to evaluate competing solutions, own end-to-end project delivery, provide technical guidance, communicate effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
