DevOps Engineer, Assistant Vice President
State StreetResponsibilities
- Design, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Manage, provision, configure, and automate cloud infrastructure on Azure Cloud Platform.
- Create automation scripts for deployment, configuration, and monitoring.
- Implement monitoring solutions, troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues, and improve system performance.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to deliver solutions and address technical challenges.
- Ensure security, compliance, and data protection best practices across systems and processes.
- Document infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational best practices.
- Improve the efficiency and scalability of applications and infrastructure.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing and deploying applications and infrastructure.
- Proficiency with Azure cloud services.
- Experience with Harness, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack, or similar configuration-management tools.
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Proficiency in Bash, Python, Ruby, or similar scripting languages.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Experience with Git or other version-control systems.
- Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar monitoring and logging tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks or projects.
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Azure DevOps Solutions Expert are preferred.
- Experience with microservices architecture and API management is preferred.
