Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale resilient cloud-native distribution infrastructure.
- Own system design and data modelling for sophisticated multi-schema relational databases.
- Develop and maintain secure, reproducible infrastructure as code.
- Design integration, contract, and end-to-end test strategies.
- Build secure, documented APIs and data delivery services for institutional financial clients.
- Lead technical direction through architectural guidance, code review, and pairing.
- Partner with product, operations, and client-facing teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Own infrastructure review, security validation, observability, operational guardrails, and production quality.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in system design, distributed systems, and relational data modelling.
- Solid experience building and operating cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Ability to write and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform or an equivalent.
- Experience designing test strategies across multiple levels of the testing pyramid.
- Proficiency with AI development tooling and using AI to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.
- Strong debugging skills across distributed systems.
- Basic understanding of financial services or capital markets.
- Effective collaboration and communication of technical decisions to non-technical audiences.
