Responsibilities

  • Own software capabilities from requirements gathering through implementation, deployment, and subsequent support.
  • Design, develop, and deploy solutions for pricing, risk, price distribution, and other corporate credit trading capabilities.
  • Work with trading, strats, COO stakeholders, global technology teams, and the Corporate Credit business to translate needs into technical projects.
  • Improve trader efficiency, platform performance, stability, and time to market.
  • Apply software engineering best practices across new and legacy systems.
  • Use AI, Frontier models, and agentic tools to support software development and design.
  • Take on management responsibility for developers and contractors as opportunities arise.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of relevant industry experience working with Java or .NET.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming and a mixture of new and legacy systems.
  • Knowledge of data structures, design patterns, collections, and multithreaded programming.
  • Proven delivery track record with technical leadership and software project management.
  • Experience using AI for support, development, and design, with some ability to work with current AI agents.
  • Ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team and solve problems independently.
  • Preferred knowledge of Scala and Python.
  • Preferred hands-on experience with agentic or Frontier development tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Sourcegraph AMP.
