Responsibilities
- Develop and update coding tools for vehicle software development using MATLAB scripting, Python, VBA, and other programming languages.
- Translate and streamline customer requirements and ensure adherence to development processes, guidelines, and frameworks.
- Create requirement documents, validation reports, and user manuals for delivered tools.
- Perform design reviews, technical reviews, peer reviews, validation, and issue resolution with impact analysis.
- Improve processes, guidelines, templates, tool quality, and assigned technical areas.
- Create and deploy training modules while coaching junior-level employees and peers.
- Deliver projects autonomously with minimal support and meet project quality, cost, and timing objectives.
Requirements
- 9 to 15 years of experience in MATLAB Model-Based Design using Simulink and Stateflow, preferably in automotive or an equivalent environment.
- M.E. or M.Tech in Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, VLSI, or Embedded Systems, or B.E. or B.Tech in Automobile Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR-based coding and testing, MATLAB Embedded Coder customization, fixed- and floating-point coding, and automated code generation.
- Hands-on experience with coding standards including MISRA 2023, static code analysis, Model-Based Design tools, and MIL/SIL testing approaches.
- Working knowledge of MATLAB scripting, Python, and VB macros; experience with additional scripting languages and automation tools is an advantage.
- Familiarity with automotive software development processes, MAAB, AUTOSAR, and related tools.
- Strong analytical, logical reasoning, problem-solving, communication, coordination, adaptability, and independent-working skills.
