$70k - $126k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack application features using Java, React, and RESTful APIs.
- Develop and maintain React-based micro frontends and Java-based microservices in a Microsoft Azure environment.
- Modernize legacy applications using microservices and micro frontend architectures.
- Develop new functionality, resolve defects, and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Participate in code reviews, Agile activities, technical knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot application, configuration, integration, and deployment issues across development and test environments.
- Support deployments to pre-production and production environments.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for application features, interfaces, and configurations.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, architects, technical leads, and other developers.
- Use approved AI-assisted development tools for software development, testing, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 2 years of relevant software development experience, including hands-on Java 17+ and React development.
- Experience developing or consuming RESTful APIs and developing applications in a cloud environment, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Understanding of microservices architectures and modern application development principles.
- Experience with relational databases such as Azure SQL.
- Experience with source control, code reviews, build processes, and tools such as Git or Azure DevOps.
- Experience developing and executing unit tests using JUnit or comparable testing frameworks.
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment such as Kanban, Scrum, or SAFe.
- Preferred experience includes Azure DevOps, GitHub, Azure Boards, Azure Repos, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service, KendoReact, Quarkus, OAuth 2.0, AI-assisted development tools, healthcare IT, HL7 FHIR, and federal healthcare applications.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
