Responsibilities
- Implement and document critical functionality to a high standard.
- Deliver code, unit tests, feature tests, stubs, and integration tests.
- Create and document low-level designs.
- Work within a Scrum team and participate in sprint rituals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to understand designs and functional requirements and triage issues.
- Assist with digital transformation engagements.
- Performance-tune, profile, and debug applications.
Requirements
- Excellent hands-on experience with Java and associated technologies.
- Experience with Spring Boot.
- Hands-on knowledge of open-source tools, libraries, and standards.
- Working knowledge of Docker containers.
- Strong experience with test-driven development, test coverage, unit testing, feature testing, and test automation.
- Experience with DevOps tooling and Continuous Delivery.
- Knowledge of non-functional design drivers, performance tuning, profiling, and debugging.
- Knowledge and demonstrable experience of traditional and agile delivery methods.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a desire to further develop skills and lead in the application domain.
