Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver scalable, secure, maintainable, production-ready software across the full product development lifecycle.
- Integrate AI capabilities into ServiceNow and similar enterprise platforms to improve colleague experience, automation, and platform functionality.
- Analyze production issues, identify root causes, deliver fixes, and drive service stability and continuous improvement.
- Use AI tools and automation across development, testing, documentation, deployment, and code quality processes.
- Assess and recommend emerging AI engineering tools, frameworks, and patterns that improve productivity, quality, or cost efficiency.
- Apply secure, compliant, governed, and responsible AI practices across development, test, and production environments.
- Create reusable assets, reference implementations, internal standards, and technical guidance for AI-driven engineering adoption.
- Collaborate with product owners, platform teams, operations, architecture, security, legal, and compliance stakeholders while mentoring others on modern engineering practices.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience using Java, Python, or similar technologies to deliver production-ready code.
- Strong capability in solution design, development, unit testing, scalability, maintainability, and impact analysis.
- Hands-on ServiceNow development experience is preferred, or experience with a similar enterprise platform.
- Experience integrating AI capabilities such as LLMs, AI agents, and RAG patterns into platforms.
- Experience with AI-assisted development, testing, documentation, code reviews, and automation-first workflows.
- Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and controlled promotion across development, test, and production environments.
- Familiarity with Docker and orchestration concepts such as Kubernetes is desirable.
- Ability to analyze and resolve production issues and improve stability and operational efficiency.
- Understanding of enterprise security, privacy, compliance, responsible AI, prompt safety, data handling, and auditability.
- Experience with ServiceNow Now Assist, Copilot Studio, KIRO, or equivalent AI-enabled tooling is desirable.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, share innovation ideas, and advocate for AI-driven product development.
