Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve scalable, maintainable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.
- Build Java backend systems, RESTful APIs, microservices, and service-to-service integrations for financial applications.
- Develop frontend functionality using ReactJS and TypeScript and integrate it with backend services using asynchronous communication patterns.
- Work with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases while maintaining data integrity and performance.
- Build and manage cloud-native infrastructure and deployment pipelines using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Implement secure coding, authentication, authorization, encryption, unit testing, automated testing, and secure deployment practices.
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, cross-functional collaboration, and mentoring of engineers.
- Identify and mitigate risks, strengthen controls, and contribute to technology communities and technical excellence.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with Java JDK 17+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and scalable secure backend systems.
- Strong expertise in RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and service-to-service integration in high-volume transactional environments.
- Hands-on experience with ReactJS, TypeScript, and end-to-end full stack development.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases, with a focus on data integrity and performance.
- Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure coding guidelines.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Maven, Gradle, and secure deployments.
- Proficiency with Git and enterprise development workflows.
- Experience leading technical design discussions, conducting code reviews, and mentoring engineers in large delivery teams.
- Understanding of Scrum, Agile, and Lean principles is valued.
- Experience working with cross-functional Dev, QA, and Architecture teams is valued.
- Ability to manage risk and controls, communicate complex information, influence stakeholders, and contribute to strategic and digital technology objectives.
