Base Salary
$90k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive software test plans and Design and Acceptance Test Procedures to verify requirements and features.
- Write, execute, and optimize Python test scripts that interface with test equipment and software under test.
- Investigate test failures, debug software issues, perform root cause analysis, and propose resolutions.
- Lead improvements to automated testing architecture and expand testing capabilities.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and manufacturing teams on software integration and test execution.
- Present test findings to stakeholders and Test Review Boards.
- Provide labor and schedule estimates for test features and procedure development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of experience in software integration, test automation, or related work in embedded or complex systems environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience designing, scripting, and optimizing automated software test systems.
- Experience developing test plans, writing Design and Acceptance Test Procedures, and validating complex software requirements.
- Experience debugging software failures, performing root cause analysis, and communicating findings to technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with hardware/software integration, test equipment, and verification of communication between system components.
- Experience collaborating with software, hardware, and manufacturing teams.
- Experience with automated test frameworks and integration testing methodologies.
- Ability to produce accurate labor and schedule estimates.
- Experience with C/C++, JavaScript, SQL, and Linux-based systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
