Responsibilities
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents and provide timely feedback.
- Analyze requirements and prepare query lists.
- Write and execute test cases to identify functional, usability, and performance issues.
- Perform regression testing after bugs are resolved.
- Conduct exploratory testing with simultaneous test design and execution.
- Verify application consistency across multiple devices, platforms, and browsers.
- Create detailed reports, document bugs, and list improvement opportunities.
- Stay current with testing tools and test strategies.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of web application testing and functional testing methodologies.
- Understanding of the software development process and software life cycle.
- Proficiency in manual web, mobile, API, and requirements testing.
- Familiarity with test documentation, requirements review, and bug reporting.
- Understanding of project-required markup, scripting, or programming languages such as JSON and HTML/CSS.
- Ability to describe bugs clearly and accurately.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and knowledge of API testing.
