Responsibilities

  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects.
  • Perform regression testing after bugs are resolved.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
  • Monitor debugging results and investigate causes of non-conforming software.
  • Track QA metrics including defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Train users to implement solutions and stay current with testing tools and strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related field.
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Understanding of software development QA, debugging, and release processes.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • At least 1 year of software industry experience is a plus.
  • Excellent computer literacy and ability to objectively review and qualify data.
