Responsibilities
- Own product features end-to-end from problem definition through production.
- Contact external partners and providers, obtain sandbox access and documentation, and agree on integration details.
- Create product and technical specifications with AI agents and take responsibility for their content.
- Delegate development to AI agents, review their output critically, and accept changes in a large, complex codebase.
- Test delivered features and ensure the reliability of code handling financial transactions.
- Contribute to the evolution of the company’s AI-first development process.
Requirements
- Senior-level engineering experience owning a complex production system end-to-end, including architecture, reliability, deployment, and integrations.
- Background as a backend engineer or software architect.
- Experience using AI agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar as a primary daily development tool.
- Ongoing interest in the evolution of agentic development.
- Strong ownership and entrepreneurial initiative, with the ability to drive work without detailed specifications.
- Ability to critically review AI-generated work, identify errors, and select effective solutions.
- Interest in hands-on individual-contributor product work without team management responsibilities.
