Responsibilities

Become an expert in DevOps, site reliability, cloud best practices, and the team’s technical domains.
Lead planning, execution, and release of complex technical projects across multiple teams.
Lead and mentor engineers while improving technology quality and applying engineering best practices.
Own large or complex technology capabilities and medium to large infrastructure projects from technical design through completion.
Design and build resilient systems, reduce failure domains, and minimize the impact of maintenance and outages.
Guide the development of Service-Level Objectives for owned systems.
Drive technical roadmap prioritization and influence product roadmap and process improvements.
Facilitate cross-team collaboration, identify project risks, and mitigate them to support on-time delivery.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

6+ years of professional software engineering experience with increasingly impactful accomplishments.
Experience contributing substantially to cross-pod or cross-company deliverables.
Experience leading technical contributions and building fault-tolerant, scalable software systems.
Demonstrated practical application of computer science concepts.
Ability to set and enforce standards for stable, correct, and maintainable code.
Experience mentoring and training more junior engineers.
Deep production-scale AWS or GCP expertise is preferred.
Advanced Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code experience is preferred.
Experience with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, SRE practices, SLOs, error budgets, incident management, GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana, IAM, VPC peering, or Istio is preferred.
Understanding of at least one programming language for developing scripts and software is preferred.
B.S. in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent high-level industry experience is preferred.

Base pay is $180,504–$236,911 per year, with employee benefits, equity grants, and annual performance bonuses.
