Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Analyze, optimize, and secure backend and third-party dependencies.
- Lead the planning and execution of major software releases and updates.
- Drive improvements in key cycle time metrics like PR CI speed and commit velocity.
- Contribute to standards for code quality and platform reliability.
- Spearhead efforts to leverage AI within the platform lifecycle.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to gather requirements and resolve conflicts.
- Monitor the health and reliability of the platform, diagnosing complex issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong computer science fundamentals.
- Ability to analyze root causes and implement systemic fixes.
- Comfortable reasoning about distributed systems and dependency graphs.
- Proficient across the stack, including Python, Go, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with AI tools and a desire to integrate them into development work.
- Strong sense of ownership for the platform's health and engineering excellence.
