Base Salary

$70k - $105k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, test, debug, implement, and support GTM commercial business applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Partner with business users to understand functional and data requirements, assess processes, and recommend technology solutions.
  • Lead the design, development, implementation, and testing of moderately complex software solutions.
  • Improve application performance, reliability, and functionality and help resolve technical issues.
  • Collaborate with developers, quality assurance analysts, business partners, and cross-functional teams to align designs and prevent defects.
  • Provide technical guidance to new team members on development environments, standards, operational processes, application functionality, and component architecture.
  • Align development activities and technology solutions with business priorities and expected outcomes.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of web application development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Java, web services, CSS, XML/XSLT, HTML, JavaScript, JUnit, and Oracle SQL.
  • Experience developing and implementing web applications with N-tier architecture and knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, Spring, data structures and algorithms, multithreading, synchronization, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle, coding standards, source code management, and unit testing; Agile experience is preferred.
  • Preferred knowledge of JSON, ORM, C#, IIS, ASP.NET, DevOps, CI/CD, automated test execution, Git, Azure DevOps, Ansible, IT operations, automation, cloud computing, monitoring, and logging.
  • Knowledge of data privacy practices and applicable industry regulations, including NAESB, FERC, and SOX.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, customer-service, and problem-solving skills.
