Responsibilities
- Lead technical initiatives, architecture design, guardrails, guidelines, innovation activities, and software delivery across the SAP EWM landscape.
- Define technical requirements and oversee software projects in collaboration with Product Managers, Business Experts, and stakeholders.
- Provide architecture and development guidance, mentor team members, and promote software development best practices.
- Design and ensure implementation of scalable, reliable software solutions and lead architecture and code quality reviews.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues to improve software performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain documentation for software designs, technical specifications, and processes.
- Promote continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and technical innovation within the team.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Functional Consultants, Integration Experts, and ABAP Developers within an agile framework.
Requirements
- 12–15 years of experience in SAP solution design and development.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of SAP EWM processes and designs, including warehouse automation.
- Experience leading and mentoring development teams.
- Strong experience with SAP ABAP, object-oriented ABAP, design patterns, Code Push Down, CDS, and HANA modeling.
- Strong experience architecting SAP BTP composable event- and API-based solutions integrating BTP and on-premises systems.
- Experience with Clean Core implementation, Application Extension Methodology, and the 3-Tier Extensibility Model.
- Expertise in ABAP CDS, AMDPs, SAP BTP RAP, SAP BTP CPI, Event Mesh, and API Management.
- Knowledge of UI/Fiori is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in ABAP Unit, code reviews, maintainable code practices, and performance optimization.
- Collaborative communication skills and the ability to work across multicultural, cross-functional environments.
