Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Pega applications that optimize client business processes.
- Implement Pega workflows, case management, process flows, decision and declarative rules, data pages, listeners, schedulers, queue processors, and reporting.
- Develop Pega integrations, including gCase, gpi APIs, inbound and outbound correspondence, and SWIFT MX and MT message processing.
- Design and maintain Pega class structures, security models, UI and portals, technical architecture, and unit test cases.
- Perform Pega application performance tuning, guardrail improvements, upgrades, and adherence to Pega best practices.
- Lead delivery activities, participate in project ceremonies, provide status updates, and maintain client and onsite relationships.
- Build technical assets and accelerators and mentor or groom a team of 2–3 junior developers.
- Participate in cross-skilling, organizational initiatives, and compliance with EY policies and project quality protocols.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of Pega application development experience using the Pega Development platform.
- Experience delivering at least 2–3 end-to-end Pega project implementations and working on 3–4 projects.
- At least 1–2 years of Pega Cloud experience and a good understanding of Pega Constellation.
- Hands-on experience with Pega case management, integrations, class structure design, security models, reporting, process flows, rules, data pages, listeners, schedulers, and queue processors.
- Hands-on experience with SWIFT MX and MT message processing and end-to-end message and exception case processing.
- Knowledge of Pega Agentic AI, application performance tuning, Pega best practices, guardrail improvement techniques, UI and portal development, and at least one Pega upgrade.
- CSSA or CLSA Part 1 certification.
- Understanding of relational databases and hands-on PL/SQL experience; Java/J2EE knowledge is a plus.
- B.E. or B.Tech in Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunications, or Computer Science, or MCA, with ideally 2–3 years of experience at a Big 4 or paneled SI/ITeS company.
- Experience grooming junior developers and strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, reporting, and consulting skills.
- Smart Dispute or Smart Investigate Framework experience and Pega Deployment Manager exposure are advantageous.
