Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python backend services and APIs.
- Extend platform capabilities for infrastructure resource provisioning and lifecycle management.
- Implement multi-tenancy, authentication, authorization, and role-based access control features.
- Integrate backend services with infrastructure automation and provisioning components.
- Improve code quality, maintainability, documentation, and delivery standards.
- Work with existing codebases and collaborate with technical stakeholders in a mixed engineering team.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with Python backend development.
- Experience building REST APIs and backend services.
- Good understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and RBAC concepts.
- Practical experience with Git, code review, CI/CD, and automated testing.
- Ability to improve existing codebases incrementally and demonstrate senior-level ownership.
- Experience with infrastructure, cloud, hosting, data center, or platform engineering projects is preferred.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, containerized services, Nautobot, NetBox, multi-tenant platforms, self-service portals, infrastructure automation, server provisioning, or lifecycle management is preferred.
- Basic frontend awareness, particularly React, is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to understand technical and business context.
