Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement robust API services for European customers.
- Lead architecture designs and product roadmap creation.
- Research and adopt new technologies and best practices.
- Analyze complex ecosystems to determine optimal approaches.
- Mentor and empower other engineers to foster a high-performing team culture.
- Contribute to code reviews and technical designs.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across the application stack.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in software development, particularly in backend services.
- Deep knowledge of software design patterns, API design, and the software development lifecycle.
- Proven ability to influence technical direction and contribute to complex system architecture.
- Understanding of REST, service-based architecture, and distributed systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Java, SQL, and AWS.
- Experience with Elasticsearch is a plus.
- Demonstrable knowledge of using AI in engineering.
- Interest or experience in the financial industry or wealth management.
