Base Salary
$205k - $273k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive the long-term technical strategy for motion planning and trajectory optimization algorithms.
- Own the structural design of robust and scalable software for real on-road impact.
- Establish code quality benchmarks and lead architectural code reviews.
- Define modern development toolchains to enable rapid development cycles.
- Lead architectural co-design with adjacent teams for integrated solutions.
- Author high-impact project proposals for long-term technical roadmaps.
- Mentor senior and junior team members to foster a culture of product-focused engineering.
Requirements
- 5+ years of production-grade C++ software development experience.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale technical development initiatives.
- Deep experience with Model Predictive Control and motion planning architectures.
- Strong mathematical understanding of optimization algorithms.
- Experience with numerical optimization solvers in real-time environments.
- Knowledge of Python for simulation or rapid prototyping is a bonus.
