Responsibilities
- Provide architectural direction and technical leadership to product engineering teams.
- Review and guide designs for major enhancements and new capabilities.
- Ensure adherence to Conga’s SDLC and architectural standards.
- Balance business and non-functional requirements including security and performance.
- Mentor and coach engineering teams to elevate technical standards.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering Managers on roadmap planning.
- Promote consistent architectural patterns across the product ecosystem.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Conga’s B2B products and platform architecture.
- Proven experience leading technical design discussions.
- Deep experience delivering enterprise Java-based SaaS solutions.
- Solid background in designing backend services and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ability to influence across teams without direct authority.
- Clear communicator capable of translating complex concepts.
