Responsibilities

  • Develop safety-critical software using the MATLAB/Simulink model-based design approach.
  • Create and maintain software requirements and software architecture artifacts.
  • Design software functions and generate embedded code from Simulink models.
  • Execute software verification, validation, unit testing, and automated testing activities.
  • Perform software design reviews and document results.
  • Support system integration and troubleshooting activities.
  • Manage engineering change requests and implementation activities.
  • Prepare technical documentation according to internal processes and railway standards.
  • Contribute to process improvements and technical problem solving.
  • Collaborate with global and cross-functional engineering teams.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in Model-Based Development.
  • Strong expertise in MATLAB, Simulink, and embedded software development.
  • Knowledge of software architecture at controller and function level.
  • Experience with software testing, unit testing, automated testing, code reviews, and software quality processes.
  • Understanding of functional safety concepts and communication protocols such as CAN and Ethernet.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Office 365, and PLM/release-management tools.
  • Experience in railway, automotive, or industrial embedded systems.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Strong English communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience working in international and cross-functional teams.
