Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain real-time and historical data pipelines.
- Build and maintain documented libraries and APIs for managing, searching, and analyzing vehicle datasets.
- Collaborate on front-end interfaces that visualize data and improve fleet operations.
- Partner with autonomy and platform teams to address software needs and maintain system compatibility.
- Determine technical approaches for assigned tasks and discuss improvements and alternatives with the team.
- Apply testing and engineering procedures to optimize data-processing workflows for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring tools.
- Invest in professional growth and technical mastery through research and application of industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent degree or experience.
- At least 2 years of industry experience in software engineering.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming with languages such as Python, Rust, or Java.
- Working knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and deployment practices.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices.
- Experience building and maintaining data-processing pipelines in a cloud environment is desirable.
- Knowledge of data warehousing or data lake concepts is desirable.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and telemetry systems is desirable.
- Understanding of real-time data processing and distributed systems is desirable.
