Base Salary
$90k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance to small groups of engineers, including offshore associates, on engineering projects.
- Translate project requirements into technical solutions and write, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain code.
- Design and implement Java REST API web services and scalable application architectures.
- Integrate relational and NoSQL databases, including DB2, Azure SQL, and Cassandra.
- Provide production support through debugging, root-cause analysis, action planning, and issue resolution.
- Manage complex projects by communicating status, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring on-time delivery and handoffs.
- Participate in project discovery and high-level design with product management, project management, business, and user experience teams.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience designing and implementing REST API web services using Java.
- Experience with C++, Python, Java, or C# and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with unit and integration testing using frameworks such as JUnit and TestNG.
- Experience with relational databases such as DB2 and Azure SQL and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra.
- Experience with production debugging, troubleshooting, scalable application architecture, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum practices, including two-week sprints, stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
