Base Salary
$167k - $231k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain user-facing features in React Native mobile apps for iOS and Android.
- Design and implement performant, maintainable, and scalable mobile components.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to scope and launch features.
- Work with backend engineers to define mobile-specific APIs.
- Identify and resolve performance or reliability issues in the mobile experience.
- Participate in code reviews and technical planning to enhance engineering quality.
- Support a strong mobile engineering culture through mentorship and collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- 4 years of experience in software development, particularly with React Native.
- Familiarity with at least one native platform (Swift/Objective-C for iOS or Kotlin/Java for Android).
- Understanding of mobile performance and platform-specific constraints.
- Effective communication skills with cross-functional partners.
- Ability to take ownership of work and deliver complex features.
- Advocate for maintainable and scalable engineering solutions.
