Responsibilities
- Deliver full-system features spanning software and hardware that meet customer requirements.
- Interact directly with customers at customer sites to identify target use cases and manage integration projects through completion.
- Work cross-functionally with product, software, mechanical, and electrical teams to develop and deploy systems.
- Develop a deep understanding of the system architecture and interactions between software and hardware components.
- Design and bring up test rigs for end-to-end testing and validation of system performance.
- Test and troubleshoot integration between components to ensure system reliability.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in software integration or software development.
- Understanding of electronic systems and how to set up and debug them.
- Experience developing or testing software applications.
- Software development experience in Python or C/C++.
- Familiarity with Linux development and Bash scripting.
- Preferred experience in the automotive industry and with CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Simulink, or AUTOSAR.
- Preferred experience interacting with customers to deliver projects meeting their requirements.
- Preferred experience developing software for large projects, including release processes.
- Preferred familiarity with embedded-systems software development.
- Preferred skills in adjacent areas such as CAD, 3D printing, or PCB design.
