Responsibilities
- Provide CM support for maintaining the software baseline using automated CM tools.
- Maintain project software, documentation inventory, and configuration baselines.
- Establish and maintain CM processes and procedures.
- Define and implement procedures for releasing products throughout the product life cycle.
- Serve on the Configuration Control Board (CCB).
- Produce builds of products for testing and production, and streamline build processes.
- Advocate for best practices and drive the development and maintenance of build automation tools.
- Maintain source code change control and perform distribution partner and corporate client setups.
- Perform software deficiency and change request updates and reporting.
- Maintain project notebook library and software development folders.
- Track and maintain project change requests, impact assessments, incident reports, and software change notices.
- Measure and report on success metrics against world-class benchmarks.
- Support management with technical performance data from the CM process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of IT work experience in systems/applications development functions.
- Experience working on multiple products, activities, and projects as a project team member, occasionally as a project leader.
- Ability to work on moderately complex tasks, projects, and support issues in multiple technical environments.
- Capability to coach junior technical staff.
