Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy integrated solutions for modernizing and coordinating applications.
- Determine how existing applications and systems work together to meet new enterprise requirements.
- Develop methods for efficiently reusing existing components.
- Collaborate with users to gather business requirements and perform database analysis.
- Code and test middleware routines for seamless communication among various IT components.
- Participate in component and data architecture design and software product evaluation.
- Provide buy vs. build recommendations.
- Offer technical direction and subject matter expertise to junior technical staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of programming/systems analysis experience with a focus on applications and systems architectural design.
- In-depth knowledge across multiple technical environments.
- Proficiency in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) methodologies.
- Experience with object-oriented programming and distributed, cross-platform program communication.
- Familiarity with middleware applications, message brokers, and message queuing approaches.
- Knowledge of enterprise-wide content and data distribution using XML and common databases.
- Strong business knowledge and ability to work on complex, enterprise-wide projects.
