Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies.
- Implement complex architectures with enterprise architects while remaining actively involved in software development.
- Partner with stakeholders in Agile environments to align technical solutions with business priorities.
- Clarify ambiguous requirements and apply sound engineering judgment.
- Own critical components and drive performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Mentor junior engineers and raise team standards through code reviews and technical leadership.
- Apply testing, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure best practices.
- Write, test, and validate code to ensure quality and reliability.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, REST APIs, real-time streaming architectures, and microservices architecture patterns.
- Experience delivering cloud-native applications on AWS or another major cloud platform.
- Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Document DB.
- Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, containerization, and deployment automation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and DevOps tooling, including Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across architecture, engineering, and product teams.
- Preferred experience includes FinTech or regulated enterprise environments, LLM workflows or production ML model integration, and Kafka or other scalable messaging platforms.
