Base Salary
$130k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Execute strategic technical initiatives that improve infrastructure and engineering workflows across the company.
- Identify and solve technical problems involving scalability, reliability, and reusability.
- Scope and deliver complex projects from conception through completion.
- Collaborate with application engineers and stakeholders across teams and brands to implement company-scale solutions.
- Propose and implement architectural improvements supporting long-term growth and resilience.
- Contribute hands-on through coding, infrastructure design, and system optimization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- 6+ years of professional hands-on software engineering, site reliability engineering, or platform engineering experience.
- Extensive experience with at least one programming language, such as Java, C++, Python, or Go.
- Deep experience with AWS or GCP and containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of backend systems, including web servers, message queues, databases, and load balancers.
- Fluency in observability tools and methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate across teams, communicate effectively, and learn and work with varied technologies.
