Base Salary
$160k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and ship core infrastructure components, including query execution, graph storage, and distributed systems.
- Make architecture decisions alongside the founding team and resolve complex technical trade-offs.
- Contribute to benchmarking and research that defines the platform’s technical direction.
- Participate in architecture reviews and help raise the technical ceiling as the engineering team grows.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Rust or Go, or a strong drive to develop deep expertise in one of them.
- Hands-on production experience designing and shipping query engines, storage layers, graph internals, or similar core infrastructure.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and ability to reason from first principles.
- Ability to own large, ambiguous problems with an ownership mindset.
- Experience building or scaling distributed systems, databases, or storage infrastructure is strongly preferred.
- Open-source contributions to systems-level projects and prior founding-engineer or early-stage infrastructure experience are bonuses.
