Responsibilities
- Determine user requirements with stakeholders and drive dependencies and design documents for products, applications, services, or platforms.
- Create, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance, maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment.
- Partner with stakeholders to drive project plans, release plans, and work items.
- Act as a Designated Responsible Individual, participate in on-call operations, monitor systems for degradation or downtime, and initiate recovery actions.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, monitoring, and operations at scale.
- Guide other engineers by developing and following operational playbooks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience designing, building, and operating production-grade software and services at scale.
- Proven track record of delivering high-impact solutions.
- Expertise solving complex technical challenges in areas such as distributed systems, AI/ML infrastructure, developer platforms, or cloud services is preferred.
- Experience engaging with customers during integration or deployment phases is preferred.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
