Responsibilities

  • Design, build, optimize, and maintain RPA bots and automated workflows using UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Conduct process discovery, documentation, automation assessment, process mapping, and feasibility and ROI evaluation.
  • Integrate automations with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Office/365, web systems, APIs, and enterprise data sources.
  • Implement unit and regression testing, version control, CI/CD for automation packages, environment promotion, deployment, exception handling, and post-deployment support.
  • Manage bot scheduling, orchestration, queue management, credential and access controls, audit logging, change control, monitoring, dashboards, and alerting.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, reliable, and production-ready automation solutions.
  • Drive automation engineering standards, governance, documentation, operational excellence, and reusable component libraries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field plus 4+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree plus 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • At least 4 years of proficiency in one or more RPA platforms, including UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Microsoft Power Automate, with production bot development, testing, and deployment experience.
  • Proficiency in Python, VBScript, Shell script, and SQL for custom automation logic, data extraction, and enterprise integrations.
  • Experience with process discovery, process mapping, PDD/SDD documentation, automation candidate identification, and feasibility assessment.
  • Experience with automation lifecycle management, including testing, monitoring, change management, version control, CI/CD, and environment promotion.
  • Experience integrating enterprise applications using APIs, screen scraping, OCR, and document understanding tools.
  • Experience with RPA orchestrator or control-room tools for scheduling, queue management, exception handling, and performance monitoring.
  • Knowledge of OCR, document understanding, chatbots, machine learning models, ERP systems, workflow/BPM tools, ticketing systems, data governance, automation security, access management, and IT compliance is beneficial.
  • Experience leading automation initiatives, mentoring junior developers, developing standards, and delivering enterprise automation programs is beneficial.
  • RPA certification, such as UiPath or Automation Anywhere certification, is a plus.
