Base Salary
$149k - $238k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, secure, high-performance software
- Lead technical projects from concept through launch
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers
- Define technical vision for the team and broader organization
- Lead architecture design reviews and provide feedback through channels such as pull request reviews
- Write and review design documents, library proposals, and technical vision documents
- Define and manage technical backlog roadmaps
- Improve engineering processes across the group
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- Experience designing and delivering highly available, scalable cloud-based systems
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript/JavaScript, and component-based frameworks such as React.js
- Back-end experience with Go, Scala, Java, or a similar language
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL data stores
- Bonus: experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools such as TeamCity or Jenkins
- Bonus: experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Puppeteer, or Playwright, or automated API testing
