Responsibilities
- Debug software products through systematic testing and develop, apply, and maintain quality standards.
- Develop an automation roadmap, initiate appropriate frameworks, and maintain the existing automation suite.
- Enable project test teams to perform their own automation through appropriate tools and strategies.
- Develop, modify, and execute automated testing scripts and programs.
- Maintain test-result documentation to support software debugging and modification.
Requirements
- 8+ years of overall experience with test automation techniques for complex interdependent programs or projects.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience writing test automation scripts with Selenium and Java.
- 5+ years of experience with JUnit, TestNG, Unix Shell scripting, Gradle, JMeter, Git, and SQL.
- 5+ years of experience with test planning, execution, and tracking tools.
- 2+ years of experience with Cucumber, JBehave, Jasmine, or similar testing frameworks using BDD practices.
- 2+ years of experience testing SOAP or REST web service APIs and web UI applications.
- 2+ years of experience with Jenkins or similar tools for integrating, running, and monitoring automation scripts.
- Experience with JavaScript test automation.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment methodologies.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work with senior management, technical subject matter experts, and business customers.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives, take accountability, and work with changing priorities.
