Responsibilities
- Own the technical architecture and delivery of key project workstreams.
- Define technology strategies and architecture solutions aligned with business objectives and technology standards.
- Evaluate and coach clients’ technology teams and collaborate with clients and senior stakeholders.
- Guide project teams in developing robust, scalable, resilient, and secure solutions.
- Support technical implementations actively and on site.
- Contribute to the Financial Services Practice, particularly Capital and Investment Banking, and help build the BCG brand through case-team work.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of IT architecture experience in technology consulting, financial institutions, financial services, or banking.
- Hands-on experience with trading platforms and systems such as Nasdaq, Calypso, FIS Murex, Bloomberg, or similar.
- Knowledge of trade and settlement processes and technologies including FIX, SWIFT, and FpML across front, middle, and back office.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade architectures.
- Familiarity with containerized solutions such as Kubernetes and Docker, plus messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
- Experience with cloud platforms and services, particularly for high-frequency trading and data processing, and with scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions.
- Ability to work under pressure and willingness to travel to client sites.
- University degree with above-average academic performance in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
