Base Salary
$87k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance software for ground systems and real-time space mission capabilities.
- Modernize legacy applications into microservice-based architectures.
- Develop complete solutions using back-end and front-end languages.
- Work with Linux-based systems, containers, orchestration tools, and cloud service providers.
- Solve complex engineering and workflow problems through automation and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and complete the required hiring skills assessment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience using languages such as Java, Python, Rust, or Go.
- 3+ years of experience with Linux-based systems, containers, and orchestration tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience with a cloud service provider such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience transitioning legacy applications to modernized microservice-based architectures.
- Experience developing complete solutions with back-end and front-end languages.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required.
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of software engineering experience, or 10+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred experience includes Agile environments, client requirements, workflow automation, C#, C, C++, JavaScript, React, Node.js, and automated testing tools.
- A master’s degree is preferred.
