Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, security checks, and deployments.
  • Deliver controlled production releases across APIs, user interfaces, and database scripts while maintaining change, rollback, validation, and audit evidence.
  • Support test environments through application restarts, deployment troubleshooting, infrastructure service requests, operational configuration, and runbook maintenance.
  • Deploy and support APIs on enterprise Kubernetes platforms and troubleshoot Docker images, workloads, configuration, connectivity, and application health.
  • Build and configure on-premises infrastructure, virtual machines, and enterprise application-hosting environments, coordinating firewall, connectivity, access, and handover activities.
  • Maintain production platforms through planned patching and upgrades and remediate platform, pipeline, container, and dependency vulnerabilities.
  • Support HashiCorp Vault and Google Cloud Platform accounts, including access controls, client ID and secret configuration, and controlled key and secret rotation.
  • Create, update, schedule, and release Control-M jobs and calendars, and troubleshoot batch failures using approved recovery procedures.
  • Monitor service health, respond to incidents, investigate root causes, track corrective actions, and provide rota-based on-call and out-of-hours production support.

Requirements

  • Hands-on DevOps engineering and IT service management experience covering production upkeep, controlled releases, change requests, incident response, problem management, and root-cause analysis.
  • Practical Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline experience, Git-based version control, and scripting skills such as shell or Python.
  • Experience deploying APIs and user interfaces, executing controlled database scripts, and validating rollback procedures.
  • Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes operations, including images, deployments, configuration, secrets, networking, and workload troubleshooting.
  • Experience provisioning and supporting on-premises virtual machines and application-hosting environments, including operating-system patching, access controls, connectivity, and firewall troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of static application security testing, container scanning, open-source dependency risks, vulnerability remediation, and validation of remediation closure.
  • Practical knowledge of HashiCorp Vault, Google Cloud Platform account support, identity and access controls, client IDs and secrets, and secure production key and secret rotation.
  • Hands-on Control-M experience with job creation, updates, scheduling, dependencies, calendars, production promotion, and batch recovery.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to maintain runbooks and change evidence, use delivery-performance measures, and work with development, infrastructure, security, and business teams.
  • Willingness and ability to participate in agreed on-call and out-of-hours support arrangements.
